The Secret of the 8%: How to (Finally) Get What You Want This Year…Faster! (And Why Resolutions Don’t Work)

Can you believe 92% of people give up on their goals? Only 8% follow through and get what they want.

I used to be in the 92%, until I discovered ‘the Secret of the 8%.’ Legendary women like Oprah, Grace Kelly, Beyonce, Coco Chanel and others know this.

Listen to today’s High Value Woman™ podcast to find out what it is…

Did you enjoy it?

Great! This is just the first step…

Very soon, I’ll be posting a guide on how to set higher standards for yourself and others this year.

Help me write it by sharing your opinions, questions and comments in the area below. A few questions to get you started:

  • What are your desires for this year? What do you want to bring into your life?
  • What did you tolerate last year that you want to leave behind? What are you having challenges leaving behind?
  • What other questions do you have about how to raise your standards?

Then, click the Facebook “Like” button to share this with your girlfriends. This will help me write a powerful article that gives you (and your girlfriends) what you need to make this your best year yet.

This was great and also applies to men I think? I want to bring into my life love and laughter- joy and a rewarding career job.

I left behind a job that did not value me or treat me well. My challenge is to have people regard me highly and respect me. Most people in my life do not respect my boundaries and take advantage of my kind spirit. Could you please help with this?

    • Rhonda

      Hello Dee,

Thanks for sharing what you’re leaving behind, what you’re welcoming and the challenges you’re facing. Each woman’s situation is different and I don’t know the specifics of your situation, so it’s impossible to address and resolve everything in a comment. However, I will give you somewhere to start…

We can set boundaries, but we cannot force others to respect them. You’ve got to focus on what you can control. We can only remove (or distance ourselves from) those who don’t respect our boundaries. This depends on the severity of the boundary broken. We’re all human, so everyone is likely to break a boundary, sooner or later. At that time, it’s up to you to you let them know clearly and frankly that it’s not acceptable. If it happens again, it’s up to you to see whether or not the relationship is in your best interest. If it keeps happening and you allow it. It is your choice.

Notice a pattern? There are no victims. After a boundary is broken–and it is clearly and frankly addressed, it is YOUR CHOICE to let them continue that behavior—or not.

I want a completely new set of ambitious, high-value girlfriends. I want to be surrounded by women who are striving for the BEST and not settling for mediocrity. Last year, I tolerated way too many low value women because I didn’t value myself or my time.

I want to feel confident and comfortable in my own skin. I struggle with knowing when to let go of low-quality friendships or emotionally unengaged men. I find myself constantly putting on a performance for others when really I need to continue on my path to high-value.

How do I begin? How do I move forward and find a better group of women to spend time with?

Looking forward to your next post, Rhonda! Love the podcast. Thanks for doing what you do! 🙂

      Hello Casey,

Good for you! New, high value girlfriends are ALWAYS something I consistently seek to attract into my life. How do you begin?

      (1) Make a list of things you like to do or areas of your life/character you’d like to expand.
      (2) Look for MeetUp groups, events and other social gatherings where you can meet great women.
      (3) Take weekly action. Make it a practice to go to one new place a week (or twice a month). No matter what. We all can use busyness as an excuse.

I have already found and placed 3 high-end events on my calendar for the next 3 weeks. They will allow me to grow as a woman, an entrepreneur and allow new, high quality people into my circle.

You’re welcome Casey! It is always a pleasure to hear from women who go the extra mile and leave comments. That is the sign of a GIVER. You and other ladies who take a moment to show appreciation by commenting and sharing will be blessed 🙂

      All my best!

This was great. For this year I want to move to California and Start My own Fashion/Gift Truck. This has been a dream of mine for years, and I am ready to start a new adventure. I want to bring in love and my creative talents to the world. I want to continue my spiritual and healthy growth. Last year I left behind men, and a job that did not value me. My job values me today, and the relationships with those men, were shorter and shorter. It is growth.

      Hello Dory,

I love the dreams you have for yourself! California is amazing. You’re going to love it here.

2015 is a BIG year and I’d love to support you in making your dreams a reality. I’m teaching an innovative, elegant way to plan your year during this month’s mentoring class. You’ll want to be there live.

    Hi Rhonda!

I’m very excited about the terrific information you are sharing! Last year I got divorced after 14 years of marriage so I’m focusing on rebuilding my self confidence and growing my spirituality. I’ve lost 40 lbs and at age 53 I feel beautiful and I’m ready to get out there and meet some high value lady friends and start doing things!

I’m also working on some financial goals with getting debt free and furthering my career! I have a side business related to health and nutrition that I would really like to get moving with that so that I can also help others to maintain or regain control of their health!

And also if I happen to meet the man of my dreams that would be icing on the cake!

I’m looking forward to learning more steps towards making 2015 the best year of my life!

My life has been stressful for taking care of the four children. Now that they have their own family, i was left behind and seems empty.

I feel so disappointed that i wasn’t able to take of myself. And now that i come to know you, i became inspired tho i didn’t know where and how to start.
